«Disappointing last book in the series»

After reading all previous six books in this series, I was looking forward to the conclusion. However this seventh and last book - while a good read in itself - didn't draw the story to any sort of conclusion. It felt as if the way was left open for another book, and I was disappointed. It's fine to leave a story hanging if it's just a one-book one, but after seven books, I felt the need for some sort of rescue and conclusion.
